Disabled people occupied the Central Lobby of Parliament yesterday against the abolition of their Independent Living Fund (ILP). They attempted to storm parliament itself, causing a melee and were pushed back by the police.
John McDonnell said: ‘Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC), have taken direct action on the anniversary of the abolition of the ILF. I admire the demonstrators’ courage and give them my 100 per cent support.’
