The News Line: News ‘Arrest war criminal Netanyahu’
Five hundred students, youth and workers demonstrated outside Downing Street against the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu
‘ARREST the war criminal now!’ shouted more than 500 Palestinians and their supporters outside 10 Downing Street yesterday, as they demonstrated against visiting Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

They shouted: ‘Netanyahu, what do you say – how many children have you killed today?’ and ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!’

Magdy Khayal, who had travelled up from Brighton, said: ‘We are here demanding the arrest of war criminal Netanyahu. But George Bush and Tony Blair are also war criminals, responsible for the problems American and British imperialism has created in the Middle East.’

Holding a banner from King’s College, London, student Nouf Almazidi said: ‘We are against all the suffering in Palestine. There needs to be justice against the systematic oppression, racism and exploitation carried out daily by the Israeli state in Palestine.’

Charlie Banks, a university student, said: ‘We are here to show our support for the Palestinians. I am a British citizen and am disgusted with the fact that my government has invited the biggest war criminal in history to Britain.’
