The News Line: News Unions join forces to back BEIS strike
The march assembles
HUNDREDS of PCS contract workers at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) were joined yesterday by cleaners, catering staff and security workers on strike at the Ministry of Justice.

The BEIS strikers, who are demanding the London Living Wage, held a lively march, assembling at the University of London, where they were joined by the MoJ contract cleaners who have just won a pay victory.
The strike was timed to coincide with a landmark employment rights case at the High Court.
The MoJ workers, organised by the United Voices of the World (UVW) and the University of London cleaners belonging to the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB), joined the march.
It ended at Parliament Square with a lively rally with speeches, music and dancing.
